Hello there!

Hi, I’m Kat Brucchieri, owner and photographer of Studio 43 by Kat B. Since moving to New Jersey in 2021, I’ve focused my work on partnering with nonprofits and mission-driven organizations whose work uplifts, inspires, and makes a difference in their communities. My camera is more than a tool for taking pictures—it’s a way to tell stories, celebrate impact, and help people and organizations shine their light.

My path here wasn’t straightforward. I began my career in finance in New York City, where I also became a new mom. During that time, photography was a hobby, but it was in that season of life that I began to take it more seriously. When my son was just two and a half months old, my family and I moved to London, where I continued exploring family photography while navigating the shift in identity and purpose that comes with new motherhood.

Later, while living in Texas, my work evolved into portrait photography. As a mom who had stepped away from a career to raise children, I understood the feeling of losing yourself and then slowly rediscovering who you are beyond motherhood. I wanted to uplift and inspire women in similar places of transition, while also photographing others whose stories deserved to be seen and celebrated.

When I moved to New Jersey in 2021, my work naturally shifted again—this time toward nonprofits and organizations whose missions serve the greater good. What began as a small portrait studio has grown into a mission-driven practice dedicated to capturing emotion, amplifying stories, and supporting meaningful causes.

For me, photography is about transformation. It captures emotion in a way that helps people connect more deeply with themselves and the stories they want to share. I’ve seen how an authentic image can build confidence, change perspective, and bring a message to life. That’s why I’ve committed Studio 43 to serving nonprofits and organizations making a positive impact, with community building inspiring so much of what I do. At the same time, I continue to offer portrait photography for individuals and families who want to celebrate their own stories and milestones.

My approach is always personal—I take the time to listen, understand your story, and create images that reflect not only who you are, but what you stand for. Whether you’re an individual ready to step into your power, or an organization seeking to capture your impact, my goal is to help you share your story boldly and authentically.
